Managing Director and founder of Your Desire Events, Crystel Newman, has a passion and flair for managing events.
Following years of travelling and working around Australia and overseas, Crystel was inspired to embark on a career in Events and Marketing. Returning to Australia, Crystel completed a degree in Communications and Media Management, sub-majoring in Marketing at the University of South Australia.
The next six years Crystel worked in marketing and communications roles and gained extensive experience in event management, marketing, communications, public relations and graphic design. During this time, Crystel managed one of the most renowned events in the state, Wilpena Under the Stars. This large scale event is held in outback SA in two large marquees and attracts over 700 guests from around Australia in aid of raising funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).
Also Included in her repertoire of events, was managing the RFDS Wings for Life Ball. Held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre over 650 guests attended the annual event and walked away inspired by the night.
This fuelled her inner desire to run her own events business and cater for a wider audience in both commercial and personal arenas.
Since the inception of 'Your Desire Events' Crystel has added to her growing events repertoire by planning and managing over 100 weddings. One of her largest contracts is The Lane Vineyard - managing their weddings and special events.
Crystel is passionate, dedicated and will bring life, imagination, fresh ideas and distinguishing moments to your special occasion.

We can provide help and support or manage the entire event from the budget through to invites, themes and decor, entertainers and speakers, lighting and production, audio visual, running sheets, stage management, photography, transport logistics, catering, music, – in fact all the things you need to build your perfect event.

Your Desire Events provides event management and wedding planning to Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills, and most areas within South Australia. Event management in other states within Australia and overseas can be negotiated.
